Catch-all Emails
Do you have to make a catch-all email account? What exactly is a catch-all mailbox?
A catch-all mailbox is one that captures all the emails sent to nonexistent email addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody misspells it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have set up. Only one mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you will never miss messages because the other party has an obsolete email address or has made a typographical error. The drawback of creating a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving a lot of unsolicited bulk email messages, but this issue can be fixed by using anti-spam protection software. It’s also vital to know that a mailbox with an active catch-all functionality cannot redirect incoming emails to a 3rd-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting
You’ll be able to set up a catch-all mailbox effortlessly if you’ve got a website hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet amazingly intuitive, and it will enable you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you’ve got will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each of them you’ll notice a tiny "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking on it once again will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
A catch-all address can be created with a few clicks of the mouse in case you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with us. The hosting account will be managed via our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel and you will be able to set up email addresses using any domain name registered there. To activate the catch-all option for a particular mailbox, you’ll have to click on the logo with the same name, which will be on the right side of each email address. Disabling this functionality can be achieved in the very same way and will not require more than a click either. In case the catch-all functionality has already been activated for a given domain name, you’ll get a warning text message. The same goes if the mailbox that you would like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never disable or edit anything automatically. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
